01: Document verification

In Trade Testing Board Sindh, the document verification is the process of confirming the authenticity and validity of a document issued by the Board, such as Marks sheet, certificate or diploma. Purpose of document verification is to:

  • Confirm authenticity of issued document.
  • Prevent misuse or forgery of TTBS credentials.
  • Facilitate foreign or local employment, further education, or equivalency.

02: Types of documents could be verified

  • Skill Certificates (Trade Certificates)
  • Mark Sheets
  • Vocational Diplomas
  • National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) certificate of achievement
  • NVQ Competency Certificates

03: Who can apply

  • Individual marks sheet / certificate/ document holders.
  • Employers / Embassies / Recruitment agencies.
  • Educational institutions or organizations verifying applicants’ credentials.

04: Required Documents

1.    Application for verification               

2.    Original document to be verified with photocopy.

3.    Copy of CNIC.

4.    Passport copy (for overseas verification).

5.    Authorization letter (if submitted by an agent or employer).

6.    Verification fee (non-refundable).

05: Submission Method

  • In-person: Submit at the TTB office counter / Accountant.
  • By post: Through registered courier along with fee challan and required documents.
  • Through institution: Training institute may forward requests on behalf of trainees.

06: Verification Procedure

  • Receipt of Application:
    The TTB Verification Section receives and logs the request.
  • Record Checking:
    Staff cross-check the certificate’s serial number, batch, year, and trainee name against official TTB examination records.
  • Authenticity Confirmation:
  • If records match, the certificate/document is verified as genuine.
  • If discrepancies appear, further scrutiny or a rejection notice is issued.

Verification latter Issued:

  • A Verification Letter / Report is issued to the organization concerned,   duly signed and stamped by the authorized officer.
  •  This may be sent directly to the requesting organization or handed to   the applicant in a sealed envelope.

07: Processing Time

Normally 10–20 working days, depending on workload and completeness of documents.

Verification Fee

Local verification: Rs. 500, Payable via cash, challan or bank draft (in favor of the Secretary, Trade Testing Board Sindh.)

Important Notes

Only documents (certificates/Marksheets) issued by this board are verifiable.

Tampered or duplicate documents could be referred for legal action.

The verification can also be cross-checked by Foreign Affairs or relevant embassies once authenticated by TTB.

For overseas attestation, TTBS verification is often a prerequisite before IBCC or MOFA attestation.
